Seven Steps to Turn the Tide

Cao Zhe, a modern history student, unexpectedly transmigrates into Cao Zhi at the moment he is reciting the Seven Steps Poem. Faced with death, he recites, “We boil beans to make a broth, and burn the stalks to cook them. The beans weep within the pot: we sprang from the same root, so why torment each other so fiercely?” Then he suddenly draws his sword, cuts off his hair, and escapes death by acting like a madman. Thus begins his path to a comeback: he feigns carefree abandon while secretly building his strength.
