The Northern School Tomb Raider's Memoirs

I was once Shenyan Feng, a legendary tomb raider of the Northern faction whose name alone made people take notice. Now I’m just Xiang Yuan, an unremarkable shopkeeper on Wucheng’s antique street. I spent ten years cultivating an air of mediocrity, trying to bury forever the life I’d once led among the shipwrecks of the Yellow River and the ice tombs of snowy mountains.

Then, on a rainy day, I received half of a Warring States-era jade pendant shaped like a double-dragon huang. The other half should have remained forever in the depths of the cursed ancient city of Shimao, along with a Qiang girl named Aya.

At the same time, a mysterious visitor came to my door with an authentic Song Dynasty painting, specifically requesting that I find an artifact in the “ancient city of Shimao” that could “glimpse the secrets of Heaven.” A keepsake from the past and a sky-high commission were like two keys, wrenching open the heaviest iron door buried in my memories.

I knew my ten years of peace were over.

The second volume will delve into Wang Xiansheng’s legendary youth.
