Honkai: Star Rail: Quartet in Another World

When four groups from different worlds are cast by an unknown force into the vast starry expanse of Honkai: Star Rail, their fates converge in an unprecedented faction: the “Otherworld Academy.”

The academy itself is a miracle among the stars. It follows the Paths of no fewer than eighteen Aeons, and its very existence is an act of defiance against, and an exploration of, the laws of the universe.

At its helm is an unusual alliance. The principal is a Pepeshi from the Xianzhou, a people blessed by Abundance, who pursues supreme rationality. Among the faculty are Borisin from bloodthirsty hunting packs who revere strength, a female wingweaver who once soared through the skies, and a Foxian woman of mysterious origins. She was once enslaved by a Borisin hunting pack, but has since broken free of her chains and now stands at the lectern as a free woman.

These peoples, who once served the Abundance or were shaped by its creations, have come together to build an educational sanctuary that is inclusive yet rife with contradictions.

But exploration and learning are not all that await beneath these stars.

As the academy’s complicated past intertwines with the conflicts among the galaxy’s factions, the students from other worlds must find their place in this new world.

Can they find their own paths amid the faith of eighteen Paths?

And can they, alongside teachers and friends from vastly different backgrounds, protect the place they have only just begun to call home?

A grand adventure spanning worlds and Paths is about to begin, as the train of Honkai: Star Rail sounds its whistle.
