My Client-Side Big Sister Is So Warm

When a socially anxious genius who runs on “programming” meets a gentle, “strategic” older-sister-type boss. Lu Chenzhou is a top-notch Capricorn intern whose world is made up of code and rules, until he meets Shen Qingyue. When a project crisis hits, his sharp instincts save the day, making him the “genius variable” in her eyes. One rainy night, she sees through the cracks beneath his strength, and a care agreement quietly takes effect under the pretext of “project risk management.” When the sound of a power drill from the renovation upstairs becomes the last straw, she hands him a key and says in a matter-of-fact tone, “The guest room at my place is empty, quiet, and free, and it comes with meals for the sick. Given the circumstances, this is the optimal solution.” From then on, the line between client and contractor begins to blur. He awkwardly responds to her porridge and warmth with “System optimization,” while she uses “change requests” as an excuse to carefully and patiently “rebuild” his world. This is a story that wraps emotion in rationality and writes the flutter of a heart in code. From the “optimal solution” to the “only solution,” together they compile a warm program called home. He learns to accept her concern and tries to move on from the past, yet whenever his heart stirs, he still retreats in panic, convinced he is “unworthy.” Until she cups his face and cuts off every escape: “Lu Chenzhou, we want the same future. It doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be ours.” This is a story of healing: the collision of reason and emotion, the meeting of a lonely boat and a warm sea, and a journey toward healing each other.
