Shin Ultraman: The Cosmic Era

A sci-fi epic + new Ultraman + flesh-and-blood Ultraman + the legacy of civilization + an unconventional System + a brilliant ensemble cast + hardcore tokusatsu + originality My name is Lin Zhong, and I’m a museum intern who can hear the “heartbeat” of artifacts. When a world-ending monster tears open the sky, I’m chosen by a “living light” from antiquity to become its vessel. The moment I transform, I understand: giants are living beings of the cosmos, and every time they grow gigantic, their flesh and light are torn apart and reforged in excruciating pain. My System is a cutthroat merchant who’s always rushing me, while the Ultraman veterans tell me I’m the last spark of civilization. From then on, I carry the hopes of seventy-two fallen predecessors and, in a mortal body, do the work of a god. There is no Color Timer in my chest, only a heart that beats for every living thing, its pulse shaking the entire universe.
