A Dream Shatters in Cloud Recesses: Wei Wuxian's Immortal Path Beyond the Realms

Dreams Beyond the Clouds: Wei Wuxian’s Immortal Journey in Another Realm

Synopsis

One frigid night, a nightmare drives Wei Wuxian to leave a letter for the Jiang clan and flee Yunmeng under cover of darkness to avoid the tragedy of his previous life. But he accidentally crosses into another realm. Reborn Lan Wangji and Jiang Cheng search everywhere for him without success, and all trace of him vanishes from the cultivation world.

The other realm is perilous. Wei Wuxian survives with talismans and the demonic path, inherits the teachings of an ancient cultivator, and advances under a master’s tutelage. He tames strange beasts and builds a stronghold, eventually becoming the “Immortal Venerable Beyond the Realms.” When the five great clans of the cultivation world fall into trouble, Lan Wangji searches for him time and again, missing him at every turn. They are finally reunited when Wei Wuxian returns anonymously to help the Jiang clan.

Reunited with an old friend, they resolve the knots in their hearts, just as an invasion from another world begins. Wei Wuxian joins forces with Lan Wangji, rallying both realms to defeat their enemies. After the war, they forge an alliance to bring the realms together. Though they each watch over one side, their hearts remain as one, and they stay together in peace, composing a legendary tale of cultivation across realms.
