A Sweet Breeze and a Meeting in the Sun

Xia Zhi, a transfer student in the fine arts department, arrives at A University with her portfolio and a sunny disposition. In the library, she meets Shen Zhixia, the physics department’s “icy genius.” Cool and taciturn, he still bends down to pick up her portfolio and secretly repairs her stained sketches. Clumsy and absentminded, she nevertheless remembers that he doesn’t eat cilantro and stays up all night when he comes down with a fever. A trial program that mixes students from different majors in the same dorm turns their parallel lives into a bond. Her bedside night-light and strawberry milk disrupt his orderly routine, while his figure gradually fills her sketches. Their story unfolds from little everyday moments of sweetness on campus, to mutual crushes encouraged by their friends; from awkward tests of jealousy to a camping trip with their club, where they touch foreheads and seal their feelings with a first kiss; from the sensation they cause when he openly stands up for her at the university sports meet, to facing small challenges in their studies and with their parents together; from supporting each other as they prepare for graduate school and competitions, to exchanging silver bracelets engraved with their names on a rooftop at New Year’s Eve... This is a sweet campus romance about “an iceberg meeting a blazing sun.” Shen Zhixia protects Xia Zhi with a quiet tenderness, while Xia Zhi’s passionate love melts the armor around his heart. From their first meeting in the library to sharing a dorm, from dating in secret to showering each other with affection in public, from campus sweethearts to partners for life, their youth has no melodrama, only the feeling of “you’re my special one, my exception, the one I want to spend my life with.” They turn four years of university into a dream so sweet it never fades.
