In the gap between modern society and the supernatural world, there is a mysterious organization called the "Seventh Branch of the Special Incident Processing Bureau", which specializes in handling strange folklore incidents spread among the people. The branch is located in a Republican-style western-style building in the old city. Half of its employees are people with special physiques such as "yin-yang eyes" and "synaesthetes", and the other half are non-human creatures such as "retired ghosts" and "reincarnated spirits". The protagonist mistakenly entered here due to a job advertisement that said "More money, less work and closer to home".
