【Original female character, Eleanor Slughorn × Draco Malfoy】No transmigration, no System, nothing too brainy, just a sweet romance.
I’ll try to keep everyone in character. Harry keeps his agency and sharp tongue, and I’ve cut out a lot of frustrating plotlines. Most of the other characters stay true to their original personalities. Happy ending.
In her memories, her family from long ago flickered in and out of view.
“Albus? Albus, what are you thinking about?”
Eleanor looked at the boy before her. His eyes were as blue as the sky, though they seemed a little overcast now.
“I was wondering… where Gellert went.”
Well, that made sense. Ever since the holidays began, Gellert had been hanging around here nonstop.
Eleanor had heard early that morning that Gellert had dragged Aberforth out with him. She peeked through a crack in the door and saw Aberforth wearing a sour expression. Whatever leverage Gellert had over him, he clearly had him cornered.
…My dear brother, your birthday is just a few days away. Heh heh.
It was obvious what Gellert was up to: making another bid for the title of “Dumbledore’s Favorite.” How childish.
When she opened her eyes again, a hundred years had passed. Beneath the midsummer moonlight, he walked slowly toward her, a flicker of curiosity in his gray-blue eyes.
Draco’s gaze moved from Eleanor’s face to her right hand.
“Miss, what are you hiding there?”
The girl before him was like a summer-night fairy, her pale green eyes shimmering. From that moment on, Young Malfoy had a second interest besides Quidditch.
Harry: School is great, there’s always something fun going on. What? Voldemort? He’s got quite an appetite. He’ll get to taste Harry’s Avada in fifth year, and then take on the whole world.
(I generally keep the canon couples together. Updates whenever, but I won’t abandon the story.)
