Plot Introduction
Core Premise:
After Zhang Fei, courtesy name Yide, roared at the Changban Bridge and frightened Cao Cao’s million-strong army into retreat, his consciousness did not perish. Overcome with emotion and struck by a strange bolt of lightning, he crossed a thousand years and possessed an ordinary office worker named Zhang Qing in the 21st century. Zhang Qing is a 28-year-old junior planner at a culture company. Timid and easy to overlook, he is regarded by his colleagues as an honest pushover.
Main Characters:
· Zhang Qing, with Zhang Fei inside him: On the outside, a meek modern young man; on the inside, a short-tempered, immensely strong ancient warrior who knows nothing about modern technology. The clash between these two extremes fuels all the comedy and conflict.
· Lin Xiaoxiao: Zhang Qing’s neighbor, a cheerful and forthright online novelist. She becomes Zhang Fei’s first “guide” to the modern world and his most important ally, and may become his love interest.
· Director Wang: Zhang Qing’s boss, a classic workplace bully who habitually picks on him.
· Mysterious Organization: A force apparently searching for and collecting “transmigrators” in secret. Their motives are unknown, providing the story’s central mystery.
