(1VN, female lead is not a virgin, male leads are; skip this if it bothers you) (Three male leads: Imperial Preceptor Yue Ling, Regent Xie Lin Zhou, and Pavilion Master of the Dark Night Pavilion Jiang Ye. Of the three, only Xie Lin Zhou was among the original targets.) (The story was revised later, but the title couldn't be changed. She is not a princess consort, but a grand princess.)
The female lead, Jiang Si Yue, was a senior in college, just about to enter the rat race. One moment she was asleep, and the next she woke up transmigrated into the body of an unloved concubine-born daughter of a general's household, complete with a System.
At least she had caught the transmigration trend, but... wasn't this terrifying? She'd barely arrived before becoming a witness to a murder. After fainting, she learned that she had to win over certain targets and reach 100 favorability to return home. But each of the four targets was more frightening than the last: the cold-faced Regent, a seemingly gentle but secretly ruthless Prince of Jin, a gloomy and unhinged concubine-born son of the Chancellor who was hell-bent on bringing down the Chancellor's household, and the cheerful heir of the Marquis of Anle, who already had a fiancée. Was there even one she could choose?
After finally choosing the Regent, she thought she wouldn't have to win him over because he was already winning her over, and his favorability kept rising. But then a cool and aloof Imperial Preceptor appeared out of nowhere, claiming to be her husband in a previous life.
And so, the concubine-born daughter of a general's household was transformed into the Yongzhao Grand Princess of the Chao Kingdom. She was also given an Imperial Preceptor consort, a Regent secondary husband, and an assassin secondary husband.
Is this a buy-one-get-three deal?
"If you don't agree, I'll have you executed," Imperial Preceptor Yue Ling said coldly.
"Uh... I don't need them either..."
"Then have them executed."
So they had to die no matter what?
"No. This is to keep anyone from regretting it later."
I caught up on this book from the previous one. The author's writing is very to my liking. It's delicious.
I like Jiang Ye more, I think he looks better
