Mr. Li, Your Fiancée Ran Off with Her Rival’s Bodyguard

[Devoted 1v1, pampered heiress of a wealthy family VS the man in charge of another] Which one will come out on top?

"Yaoyao, you were promised to someone when you were little. He disappeared before, so we never brought it up again. Now he's back and wants to honor the engagement. He'd like to meet you." Fu's mother felt a little uneasy, afraid her daughter might refuse.

"Sure," Fu Yao agreed obediently.

But no one expected that the engagement would be brought up one day, and their daughter would be gone the next.

Fu Yao, already aboard a ship: What a joke. A marriage alliance? Not a chance. Not even through a window.

Li Mu had just returned home and hadn't even had time to rest before being told his wife had run away, taking his romantic rival with her. He immediately went after them.

One day, Fu Yao was being chased by people sent by her family when she fell and hurt her foot. A handsome man rescued her and took care of her.

"Thank you. You're such a good person," Fu Yao sincerely told the man in front of her.

"Really? Then why did you run away, wife?"

"..."

Li Mu embarked on the road to win back his wife, while only Fu Jue, the poor sucker, kept getting caught in the crossfire.

His sister used him to escape, then their parents chewed him out and Li Mu threatened him.

He helped Li Mu take his romantic rival away, only to get beaten by his sister and swindled out of money.

Fine. You two can date and chase after each other. You're so high and mighty, so amazing. Somehow, I'm the one who gets unlucky every single time.
