I Just Became Sect Master, and All My Disciples Are Undercover

My name is Xiao Ran. I transmigrated to a cultivation world and bonded with the “Strongest Slacker Sect Leader System.” The weaker and more obscure my sect is, and the closer it gets to going bankrupt, the more generous the System’s rewards become. To slack off in peace, I deliberately founded a sect on the brink of bankruptcy called the Fishing-for-Leisure Sect, and recruited a bunch of disciples who looked like complete misfits. My eldest disciple is mute and spends all day chopping wood. My second disciple is a drunk who clutches his wine gourd and drinks himself senseless every day. My third disciple is obsessed with money and can’t resist a chance to make a buck... I couldn’t be happier! My daily routine is to drink tea, sleep, and encourage them all to slack off together. But little by little, I started to realize something was wrong! My mute eldest disciple cleaved an invading demonic powerhouse in two with a single sword strike. He said he was practicing “chopping wood”? My drunken second disciple extinguished a world-burning divine flame with a spray of wine. She said she’d just “had too much to drink”? My money-grubbing third disciple used her golden abacus to “calculate away” the dragon vein of an enemy sacred land. She said she was just “doing the books”? Before long, the entire cultivation world was saying that every member of the mysterious Fishing-for-Leisure Sect had the bearing of a Great Emperor, and that its leader, Xiao Ran, was the unfathomably peerless number one of all time! Me: “??? I’m not! I didn’t! You bunch of trolls, stop putting on an act and making me look bad! Please stop imagining things. I really just want to be a slacker!”
