Operation Sky Swap

In the twenty-ninth year of the Republic, war raged across the land. Shanghai had become an isolated island, with rival forces entrenched throughout the city and covert conflict brewing everywhere. The elite “Group Five” was led by Ouyang Jianping and brought together specialists with extraordinary skills: the suave Ma Yunfei, a crack shot; Gao Han, a cold beauty skilled in explosives and medicine; Yu Zhenhuan, calm and perceptive, with a talent for disguise; and He Jian, agile and well connected. Assigned by the Military Statistics Bureau, they infiltrated enemy-occupied territory, walking a razor's edge as they fought to the death against the Japanese Special Higher Police and Wang Jingwei's collaborators.

From intercepting a secret Japanese codebook to foiling a counterfeit currency plot designed to “steal the heavens and switch the sun”; from rescuing captured resistance fighters to exposing a shocking Japanese bioweapons conspiracy, Group Five repeatedly ventured into the enemy's lair, pitting intelligence against brutality and courage against conspiracy. They had to face not only the enemy's open attacks and hidden tricks, but also suspicion and betrayal within their own ranks. Amid the turmoil of national duty and personal feelings, they held fast to their principles. As the nation faced annihilation, these unsung heroes kindled hope in the darkness with their courage and loyalty, composing a legendary anthem for a time of chaos.
