The Whisperer: I Rewrite the End with the Power of the Old Gods

Edwin, a wandering mage, is wanted by the Church for researching the Old Gods. The world is sustained by the legacy of the Children of the Stars, while the ancient gods’ whispers lurk in dreams. When a madness epidemic breaks out in the North, he discovers that the truth is tied to fragments of the Book of Corrosion. Spellcasters steal divine power, but gradually lose their minds. The cult known as the Children of Ash seizes the book and slaughters its way forward, while the Church suppresses forbidden knowledge. Edwin’s left arm is rotting, and his companion Yvette is turning scaly, becoming a vessel. When the twelve fragments are reunited, reality will be rewritten. The more you know, the closer you are to madness. In this world, the truth itself is a curse.
