The Sacrifice of Lies

A carefully planned “amnesia” act allows a queen of revenge to infiltrate her enemies’ lives and make them suffer the same way they made her suffer. Lin Wan, the heroine, was conspired against by her beloved husband, Lu Beichen, and her best friend, Su Qing, but survived against all odds. Instead of exposing them outright, she uses her superb acting skills to pretend she has lost her memory, returning to their side as “fragile and helpless.” In the very fields where they’re most successful, she’ll use the things they cherish most, wealth, reputation, and love, to destroy them one by one, making them experience for themselves the despair of falling from the clouds into hell.
