A powerful, unhinged seme + forced love + past and present lives + supernatural.
During the Republican era, a rumor circulated about the mysterious Lin family. Every member possessed extraordinary skills, and people said they were exorcists who walked among the living. Wherever a member of the Lin family went, all evil spirits fled. Even the underworld's emissaries gave them a wide berth.
Li Muze was born with a divine messenger inhabiting his body. Without having to devote himself to cultivation, he possessed divine powers beyond the reach of ordinary people. Yet while he was still in the womb, his parents had already betrothed him to the eldest young master of the Lin family.
Li Muze and the refined, gentle eldest Lin young master shared a deep affection, and the more time they spent together, the stronger their bond grew.
But Lin Jingshen, the eldest young master's younger brother, fell in love with Li Muze at first sight.
From then on, Lin Jingshen became deeply devoted to Li Muze. In secret, he fabricated the story that his brother had faked his death at the hands of a ghost and had been reduced to nothing.
He never imagined that, unable to bear losing the one he loved, Li Muze would resolutely choose to take poison and end his own life.
Years later, Lin Jingshen had become a powerful figure capable of commanding ghosts, earning the nickname “Ghost Strategist.”
At the same time, the Ghost Strategist was plotting a reunion with Li Muze.
