Xiao Yu’s life was marked by one word: failure. His parents looked down on him, his girlfriend betrayed him, his friends schemed against him, and even while delivering food, he was casually humiliated by customers. When he stepped in to help someone, he was beaten until his bones and tendons were shattered, then dumped like trash in an alley on a rainy night.
As he lay dying, a scruffy old Daoist appeared like a ghost. “Kid, you’re a lone star under a baleful fate, yet you’re also destined to bear Heaven’s mandate. Will you follow me and cultivate?”
From then on, the city lost a lowly delivery rider and gained a mysterious figure carrying the Book of Heavenly Secrets, roaming the world and seeing into the past and future. He still rode his electric scooter through the steel-and-concrete jungle, but what he delivered was no longer food: it was opportunity!
He watched coldly as the mansions of the wealthy and heartless came crashing down, while a snap of his fingers sent those with good intentions soaring to success. He moved among the powerful without letting the world stain him, devoting himself to saving lives and helping others.
Until one day, he met again the woman who had once broken his heart, and also encountered the woman who had illuminated his dark fate. See how a master seer takes Heaven’s mandate into his own hands, wins the hearts of beauties, and claims a throne at the summit of the mortal world!
