Surviving the End of the Qin Dynasty: I Lived Through Farming Skills

After being struck by lightning, Li Shadou, a modern agricultural technician, transmigrates into the Qin dynasty and becomes a poor tenant farmer in Lijiagou, at the foot of Mount Li. He wakes in a battered thatched hut with wind blowing through the holes, cold and starving. Memories of the original owner flood in: three dou of overdue rent hang over his head, Landlord Zhou is as vicious as a debt collector, conscription is just around the corner, and under the harsh rule, commoners’ lives are worth less than grass. With the baojia system imposing collective punishment and household registration strictly enforced, he must tread carefully to hide that he has transmigrated. He searches the wilderness for food and happens upon an orphaned girl named A Qiao, using his modern agricultural knowledge to identify wild vegetables and find ways to survive... The land of Qin is harsh, and making a living is hard. Watch as this modern technician uses farming to turn the tables, rising from a tenant farmer who can barely scrape together three meals a day to a pillar of support for the people in a time of chaos!
