Qi Moves, Heaven Follows

Liu Tiancheng is an ordinary young man living in the city. After an accident, he awakens the ability to sense qi. He discovers that the world around him is not simply governed by scientific materialism: beneath the surface flows an ancient current of primordial energy. Forced into the world of qi cultivators, whose traditions stretch back a thousand years, he begins by exploring the mysteries of his own life, gradually uncovering a shocking conspiracy to achieve absolute control by plundering the qi of all things. Following the path of cultivating both his nature and his life, Liu Tiancheng draws on ancient wisdom such as internal alchemy and daoyin. Against the backdrop of the modern city, he puts into practice the Daoist belief that “my fate lies in my own hands, not Heaven’s,” protects the harmony and balance between life and nature, and ultimately approaches the supreme state of “the unity of life and the Dao.”
