The Enforcers

Linjiang is a city governed by the rule of law, where women’s influence is on the rise. Cheng Yanqiu, Jiang Yanzhou, and Xu Junyao form a powerful legal trio, taking on real-life cases involving family and marriage, workplace discrimination, and workers’ rights. The courtroom proceedings are portrayed in full. In cases of domestic violence, discrimination, unpaid wages, and fraud, they wield evidence as a blade and legal procedure as a shield. There are no golden fingers, only expertise and conviction. From defending individual clients to driving institutional reform, this novel paints a dynamic ensemble portrait of a new generation of legal professionals. A powerful, realistic ensemble story that shows how justice takes root.
