The Years I Spent Fishing

[Urban high-martial arts + farming + adventure + wild fishing ideas + the supernatural + jianghu]

This book is based on some of the incredible experiences I've had fishing over the years.

You might not believe some of what you read, but if you've made it this far, I hope you'll pay attention. There may well be a mysterious tradition called the “Fishing Sect” right beside you.

You might think that in the twenty-first century, the jianghu no longer exists. But I want to tell you that it has never gone away; it has simply moved to a new battleground.

This is a struggle for supremacy that sweeps across the land, with the various schools of the Fishing Sect each showing off their skills. Traditional fishing, Taiwan-style fishing, lure fishing, and sea fishing all rise together. Reputable orthodox sects crisscross paths with the likes of “old sixes” and “evil cultivators,” the demonic factions of the jianghu.

When the swords in the hands of knights-errant become the long rods in the hands of anglers, what we face is not just the jianghu's tangled web of human relationships and treacherous hearts. There is also a world beneath the water, fraught with danger...

My name is Jiang Xiaomin. If you want to learn the secrets of this world, why not start by hearing my story?
