My Boss Wants Me to Find the Killer? The Killer Is Me!

After transmigrating, Deng Xun acquires the Assassin's Creed System and takes on two identities.

In public, he's an ace agent of the Military Statistics Bureau, hunting Japanese spies and foiling conspiracies.

In secret, he's a down-on-his-luck Japanese nobleman and a favored guest at the Japanese consulate.

He takes the enemy's money and uses it to support the front lines.

“Section Chief! Deng Xun of the Military Statistics Bureau just took out another one of our strongholds!”

An enemy superior: “This beast must be eliminated, or it will be a disgrace to the Empire!” Deng Xun, offering him a cup of sake: “My dear sir, what's troubling you?”

When everyone's masks are finally torn away, Deng Xun stands at the pinnacle of power, looking down upon the enemy camp he has turned upside down.

He finally comes clean: That's right, your worst nightmare is the very “one of your own” you trust most!
