I Opened a Little Restaurant, So Why Did I Get the Tourism Bureau Involved?

Unemployed young man Su Yu gets struck by a System and kicks off his journey to becoming a master chef. His beginner’s rewards are a house and secret recipes.

One plate of stir-fried bamboo shoots with cured pork turns a paparazzo into his kitchen helper and has a top-tier star climbing through his window at midnight to beg for a bite.

Other restaurant owners worry about bad reviews, but his max-level shop System showers him with bonus money. Others fret over foot traffic, while the aroma of his five-spice braised beef shank fills the whole street, prompting neighborhood grannies and grandpas to queue up at the residents’ committee to report him for disturbing the peace.

All he wants is to stay by his little stove and cook, but online traffic chases after him wherever he goes.

A sea of fans crowds the entrance, shouting in unison: “We brought our own stools and rice! Boss, please cook us another batch!”
