On the Day My Engagement Was Broken, the Peerless Empress Set Her Sights on Me

Ye Chen, the number-one genius of Luoyun City, becomes a cripple overnight. He endures contempt from all sides, and his former fiancée publicly breaks off their engagement, bringing shame upon his family.

Everyone believes that this once-beloved prodigy will sink into obscurity.

No one knows that within Ye Chen dwells a soul from ages past: the “Evil Lord.”

On the day his engagement is broken, he means to settle things quietly, but unexpectedly a mysterious, peerlessly beautiful empress afflicted by a strange poison latches onto him.

“Cure my poison, and I'll give you a future.”

Ye Chen smiles wickedly. “Keep your future. I'll claim my own. But you, fairy, could pay off a debt.”

From then on, the Evil Lord returns. With one man and one sword, he stirs the winds and clouds of the Nine Heavens.

Geniuses? Monsters? Holy Sons? Divine Kings?

Before Ye Chen, they are all ants!

“I'm no saint, and I have no interest in saving the world. But if anyone dares touch those by my side, I will kill them, from heaven to earth!”
