Haitan's Racing King

On a typhoon-lashed day on Haitan Island, racing driver Shen Yan’s “Blue Whale” crashes into Su Yu’s seafood truck. Their bickering in the pouring rain unexpectedly opens the door to love.

He tears up the racetrack to fulfill his brother’s dream, while she tends the fishing lights for her ailing father. But their hearts are stirred by chats at the repair shop and a rescue on a typhoon night: her “reef passage” helps him win the championship, and his promise, “If I lose, I’ll stay on the island with you,” seals their love.

A wealthy heiress stirs up trouble, surgery bills leave them desperate, and misunderstandings lead to a cold war, but none of it can tear them apart: he dares to walk away from a contract to help her in a crisis, and she turns down money to protect their love.

At last, he proposes with a seashell ring at the stargazing platform. She becomes the island’s first female racing driver, and he starts a club to train new talent. When the “Blue Whale” races again, even the sea breeze seems to sing: speed is our proof, and I’ll love only you for the rest of my life.
