The Abandoned Consort AA

Su Wan, a top perfume designer, transmigrates into the body of the least-favored legal wife of Prince Jing of the Great Yong dynasty. The whole capital laughs at her, saying that as a merchant’s daughter, she reeks of money and is unworthy of the Prince of War. The prince himself can barely stand her and abandons her to head for the border on the very night of their wedding.

Faced with a mansion full of vicious servants and the scorn of the capital’s noblewomen, Su Wan smiles. Can’t handle the intrigues of an ancient household? No problem. I’ll crush them with a whole different level of know-how.

She returns to her old trade. One bottle of “A Month in the Capital” sets the fashion of Great Yong, while a single vial of “Drunken Dreams” becomes a luxury coveted by princes and nobles. The noblewomen who once looked down on her now fight tooth and nail for even a drop of her custom-blended perfume.

When the icy Prince Jing returns victorious, he discovers that the entire capital is obsessed with the woman he cast aside. Carrying divorce papers, he steps into her fragrant courtyard, only to find the woman once dismissed as a nobody reclining lazily on a couch, while the crown prince himself brings her freshly picked roses.

Her eyes sparkle as she smiles faintly. “Your Highness, have you signed the divorce papers yet? Don’t keep me from breathing. After all, what I breathe in is air, but what I breathe out is gold.”
