The Diary of Wu Song: That Night, My Sister-in-Law Warmed My Wine

Everyone knows that I, Wu Song, punched a fierce tiger to death. But no one knows that the wine my sister-in-law warmed for me that night was the real blaze that dragged me into the abyss. They call me a hero. But is a hero's fate to watch helplessly as his loved ones die unjustly, while the papers filed by the authorities weigh no more than a feather? The law? Justice? When all of it has become a plaything for the powerful, these iron fists of mine are the only law I have. They forced me to go from a dutiful constable to a wanted fugitive on the run. They forced me to cast aside my honor and become a deadly asura stalking the night. I've killed, I've drunk blood, and I've even questioned the gods above What is right? What is wrong? My name is Wu Song. This is my diary. There is no tiger-slaying hero here, only a man seeking revenge for his brother, and... a tender poison that was destined to destroy me from the very beginning. Open these pages, and you'll see how this man of honor was driven, step by step, to Liangshan by a world that devours its own.
