Lin Mo is the last heir of the Evil-Quelling lineage. Sharp-tongued and bold to a fault, he makes a living with ancestral talismans and his yin-yang eyes. While exorcising a haunted old mansion, he crosses paths with Tang Xiaoran, a criminal investigation captain who does not believe in ghosts, and saves Su Qingyao, an archaeology prodigy born with a body of profound yin.
A shadowy trade in supernatural objects is afoot, while the Yinluo Society wreaks havoc in the human world. A century-old vengeful ghost, a haunting on a school campus, and a corpse demon in an ancient tomb emerge one after another. With no System and no golden finger, the trio team up, relying on ancestral skills, feng shui knowledge, and criminal investigation logic to solve each case. Their spine-chilling investigations are punctuated by memorable bouts of bickering. Watch the “Evil-Quelling Squad” cross the boundary between yin and yang to protect the peace of the human world!
