Journey to the West: The Great Sage Returns to Rebuild the Path to Heaven

Five hundred years ago, I wreaked Havoc in Heaven, and the Buddha pinned me beneath Five Elements Mountain. My divine power was sealed, my golden body rotted, and I became the laughingstock of the Three Realms. I thought I would never rise again, and could only turn into an obstinate stone here. Then one day, the fatal “miasma of the Dharma’s decline” engulfed me, yet unexpectedly awakened the last spark hidden in the source of my divine soul: the “Mind Monkey”!

“You have strength, but you don’t understand strength!”

“You’ve only learned the rudiments of the Great Immortal Technique!”

It turned out that my true power came not from Bodhi, but from the primordial immortal stone from which I was born!

Reforge my golden body and refine my divine soul anew! When I, Wukong, return, I’ll make all the gods and Buddhas in the heavens hear the name “Great Sage Equal to Heaven” once more! This time, I will not lose!
