Dating Show: The Lawyer’s Little Writer Is So Sweet

When a star lawyer who puts reason above all else meets a sweet, soft-spoken writer who sees the world through her emotions, their carefully calculated “efficient socializing” spirals completely out of control.

Jiang Chenyu, a law firm partner, is meticulous and logical, and his life is as precise as an equation. He joins a dating show only because his risk assessment tells him it’s the best choice. Then a woman faints in his arms from low blood sugar, and every one of his plans falls apart.

Su Nianzhi is a bestselling author, sweet in appearance but clear-eyed within. She joins the show in search of inspiration, only to become the one and only “piece of irrational evidence” in the life of the aloof Lawyer Jiang.

A bowl of late-night noodles marks the beginning of their story; every time they choose each other without hesitation, their affection grows. He records everything she likes with the precision of legal statutes, while the tenderness of her words melts the frozen world around him.

When a storm of public opinion erupts, he shields her at once. “Don’t be afraid. I’m here.” And she fights by his side, using words as her weapon.

From the show to marriage, from a world for two to a family of three. At last, on the night he confesses his love, he tells her, “My world is built on evidence, and you are the most conclusive proof of all that I love this world.”

This is a sweet story about reason and emotion colliding, then becoming one. Watch Lawyer Jiang spend a lifetime proving that love is the one truth in the world that needs no argument, yet stands firm above all others.

Their happiness is still unfolding, with every moment a new chapter.
