First Snow and Eleven
On the eleventh day of the winter lunar month, the snow was falling, and the story of Chu Jinnian and Jiangyu quietly began amidst the broken jade wrapped in the cold wind. From walking side by side on the playground in winter to heart-pounding confessions on the boulevard in spring, the two broke through the ambiguous window paper and set off a vigorous love affair on the high school campus.
The mineral water handed out under the basketball hoop, the strawberry candies hidden in the desks, and the figure walking hand in hand after evening study hall are all sweetness engraved in time. Their names dominated the hot list of campus forums, and even the teachers couldn't help but joke and send their blessings quietly. But no one expected that the sweetness of just one week would be shattered by a sudden family accident. His parents divorced, his mother went to Canada, and his father quickly reorganized the family with a five-year-old non-biological sister. A notice sent Jiang Yu to France, with an elusive return date—how many years? I don't know yet, maybe it's very short, maybe it's very long, maybe it's a lifetime.
The hasty separation has become the most profound regret in youth. In the following years, the two of them went their separate ways across mountains and seas, losing their childishness on the university campus and honing themselves into a more resilient person. They hid their thoughts in late-night exercise books, wrote regrets in unused diaries, and kept the promises they made when they were young and never forgot them.
Until another snowy November 11th, in the old place where I once made a promise, a familiar figure came into my eyes. The time that goes around in circles is ultimately no match for the obsession deep in my heart. This time, they held each other's hands tightly and never let go. From the first snow of reunion, they walked step by step to the happy auditorium surrounded by flowers.
It looks good, reminds me of high school and that time
In fact, everyone would want to meet the person with regrets in high school again and never separate.
Why isn't anyone watching? Anyway, I think it looks good
It's pretty good-looking. There are some not-sweet spots and some sweet spots, but the non-sweet spots aren't too sad either.
