Demon Slayer: My Wife Is Tamayo, and I Slay Demons with Taoist Arts

Yang Yuanxu, a Ming Dynasty merchant, is caught in a storm in the East China Sea. His ship is destroyed and its crew perishes, leaving him to drift alone to Japan’s Kyushu during the Warring States period. As he nears death, he is rescued by Tamayo, a poor female doctor. The two grow close and fall in love amid the chaos, then jointly run a clinic called Yangshi Hall, believing they can live in peace. But Tamayo, terminally ill, drinks the blood of the Demon King Muzan in despair. She becomes a bloodthirsty demon and, after badly wounding Yang Yuanxu in a frenzy, flees. Yang Yuanxu is rescued by a mysterious Taoist priest, who takes him deep into the mountains to cultivate Taoist arts. Granted an immortal body, he descends the mountain to find his wife and slay demons. After becoming obsessed with the Book of Changes, he casts a divination. The result says this book is mildly auspicious.
