I’d Rather Keep It Private. I’m the Other Woman, So It’s Complicated

When being kept comes with a monthly salary of 500,000, 13 months' pay, five types of insurance and a housing fund, plus meals and entertainment but no sex, would you be tempted by this windfall? Ruan Mianmian's answer: “I'm starting right away!” How is this being kept? It's like the God of Wealth came down to hand her a secure job! She turns down those questionable temptations, saying they're not enough, not enough, not enough! At 22, she skips the “996 is a blessing” grind and unlocks the achievement “Twenty Years Ahead of My Classmates,” turning their “graduating straight into unemployment” into “graduating straight into financial freedom.” She thought she'd have to deal with some greasy middle-aged man, but instead she meets a ridiculously handsome 25-year-old rich heir who bankrolls her. Oh? She's just a stand-in? So what if she looks like his unattainable first love! She can put up with being a shadow today and splash out on eight male models tomorrow. That's a win with no downside! This relationship will never see the light of day, but who cares? Just blind her with lots and lots of money. A pure feel-good story, with no angst or melodrama. The heroine is focused on making money, clearheaded, and no lovesick fool. The hero treats her as a stand-in at first, then goes through hell trying to win her back. If he can't win her over, he'll have to pay more. Before you read: 1. This is pure brainless wish fulfillment! There's no morality here, so please don't judge me! Please!!! 2. Don't worry, I'm not a good person, but I'm not some heartless villain either. I'm just a good person with a bit of bad in me. 3. If you hate me, I'll hate you right back. Fair's fair, and we'll be mutually devoted.
