Set against the backdrop of Eastern mythology, this story focuses on the turmoil gripping the Three Realms in the age after the Journey to the West. The Celestial Court’s authority is waning, and the balance of power among humans, ghosts, immortals, demons, dragons, and devils is shifting anew. Weakened after the ancient War of Investiture of the Gods, the Dragon Clan has been pushed out of the Three Realms’ inner circle and driven into the depths of the Eastern Sea. Ao Wu, a young dragon bearing the Dragon Clan’s hidden power and the duty to restore his people, sets out from the Eastern Sea.
