The Sugar-Control Farmstay

A hilarious blood sugar control story · Healthy aging through blood sugar control · Food safety · Charity · Family redemption

The older generation gave up their lives and their riches, transforming into dogs to guard the fields. Their descendants gave up love and their own little families to protect the meals of millions.

A family’s history of controlling blood sugar and striving for a better life, and, even more, a heartwarming, lighthearted epic spanning six generations and a full eighty years.

A brief rest on a trip with old classmates leads to a grand, gentle dream of the South. A buck-toothed female ancestor and a male ancestor with bulging eyes, consumed by guilt toward their descendants and unable to let go of their desire to atone, linger as apparitions in the human world for more than fifty years. They grow pesticide-free organic vegetables, helping their great-grandchild turn a farm restaurant into an internet sensation. Later, the two ancestors transform into dogs to guard the fields. Someone secretly films them, making them viral dogs and earning their descendants 100 million yuan. For nineteen years, they help countless people with diabetes, finally fulfilling their lifelong wish. Then come the sixth generation’s twin boy and girl, both born without diabetes, bringing an end to five generations of the family’s struggle with the disease.
