I'm Just Killing Time

In a parallel world where modern cities coexist with ancient reclusive clans, the protagonist, Lin Xian, seems to be an idle “layabout” in a bustling metropolis. His days consist of strolling around, playing chess, and watching the commotion, as if he doesn't belong in this fast-paced world. But his true identity is the last heir of Shoujing Studio, a reclusive sect that once protected Eastern civilization and wielded the mysterious “Power of Stillness.” Tired of the infighting within the sect and the clamor of the world, he chose to “hide in plain sight” and seal most of his power, wanting nothing more than some peace and quiet.
