A human-made satellite accidentally shatters an ancient grand formation around the solar system, sending immortal crystals crashing down to the mortal world.
Zhang Sanjin, a food delivery rider, finds a mysterious crystal while hiking. An ancient voice echoes in his mind:
“The prison around the solar system has been broken. You are the sword-bearer chosen by Earth’s planetary core.”
Overnight, this ordinary wage slave becomes the formation-breaker who will decide humanity’s fate…
The protagonist murmurs, “Which idiot turned Earth into a prison?” Hongjun sneezes. “If you weren’t from the same place as me, I’d sneeze you to death.” Then he says to Tongtian, “My dear disciple, do you really think giving this little punk your Dao-Proving Sword will make him a worthy sword-bearer? You should know that a sword-bearer has to be at least on my level before that broken sword of yours can hang over my head.” Tongtian thinks to himself, “You’ve forgotten how you backed your bootlicking second senior brother during the Investiture of the Gods, and now you’re calling me your dear disciple.” The two immediately begin muttering and plotting something. Meanwhile, the protagonist thinks, “Humanity can triumph over heaven. I’m happy every day I fight against it.”
Come on, it's well written and feels engaging.
