Lin Wan, formerly a chief project manager at an internet company, kicks the boss who stole her work and heads back to her village to inherit the barren mountain her grandfather left her.
The whole village greets her with ridicule: "That girl must've gone stupid from living in the city!"
Then she stumbles upon an ancient mountain god temple tucked away in the corner of her livestream, and the whole internet goes wild!
[Holy crap! Why is there a national treasure on the mountain behind your house?!]
Lin Wan turns around and smiles at the empty air. "Or what did you think makes my crops grow so well?"
Only she knows there's a handsome mountain god by her side, teaching her how to farm, one step at a time.
She may not understand soil acidity and alkalinity, but she can make PowerPoint presentations, build online communities, and work the algorithms!
While others worry about how to sell their products, her livestream has already hit the trending page.
Just as "Shanhai Paradise" becomes a gold-standard brand, corporate behemoths arrive with huge sums of money and bring the full weight of their power to bear, hoping to seize the foundation she's built.
At the brink of despair, the mountain god Mo Yuan burns through his divine soul to protect her, and is about to vanish.
But Lin Wan holds on tight. "Don't even think about leaving me! Your ancient wisdom plus my modern strategy is a winning combination!"
In her mortal form, she makes a life-and-death pact of symbiosis with him.
From then on, she is the mountains and rivers, and the mountains and rivers are her.
See how this former workplace overachiever uses KPIs and ROI alongside her guardian deity to turn thousands of miles of barren mountain into the ultimate paradise everyone dreams of!
