Mystery - Supernatural - Anomaly Containment
The Seventh Archive
Those who devour anomalies will eventually become anomalies themselves.
Two years ago, trapped in a desperate situation on a rainy night, Chen Guan swallowed the flesh and blood of an "anomaly" in the most savage way possible. The price was four years in prison, an icy emotional numbness, and a cursed gift: he became one in a million, an "insulator" immune to the madness that corrupts all distorted perceptions, able to remain perfectly lucid in a world gone mad.
Two years later, a mysterious organization called the Adjudication Bureau pulled him out of prison and severed every tie to his past. Here, anomalies were no longer legends, but realities that had to be contained and understood. Memes that warped perception, ancient gods that parasitized concepts, walking disasters governed by rules... Humanity struggled to survive in the cracks between them.
In the midst of madness, would he choose to sink into numbness, or stay lucid and bear it all?
There was no turning back. With his absolute clarity, Chen Guan would carve a path for humanity through this abyss that blasphemed against reason: a path of blood.
