There’s Something Wrong with My Cashback System

After transmigrating to the world of cultivation, Lin Chen just wants to live a lazy life, but he gets bound to a “Hundredfold Return” System. Give away one spirit stone, get a hundred back; gift someone a cultivation manual, get a supreme technique in return. He thinks this is the start of an easy life, but gradually discovers that this System seems a little “off.”

The spirit stones it returns bear unknown runes, while the pills he gives away are linked to a civilization’s destruction. Every favor he bestows accelerates the unlocking of a truth he has forgotten: the “civilization reboot device” that destroys the world in his dreams is none other than himself.

When the System’s gifts become debts demanded by fate, and the woman he loves turns out to be his former nemesis, Lin Chen stands at a crossroads: should he accept his divine nature and carry out the ultimate command to destroy everything once more? Or embrace the faint glimmer of his humanity and find a way to survive against all odds for the world he holds dear?

“If being reborn means forgetting, then is returning all about remembering?”
