Great Ming: Director, You'll Never Meet Your KPI

Office drone Chen Fan transmigrates to the Ming Dynasty, where he becomes the bankrupt manager of the Capital Weaving Bureau.

Faced with corrupt clerks, eunuchs demanding bribes, and mountains of unsold inventory, he fires back with a Performance Appraisal Plan for the Weaving Bureau.

"Miss this month's KPIs and you'll all lose your salaries! Want a year-end bonus? Then get moving!"

He puts on fashion shows, invents the Great Ming Monthly, and turns the bankrupt bureau into a profitable business, multiplying its profits a hundredfold.

When even Emperor Chongzhen becomes his "investor," and the officials of the entire court start desperately competing for their year-end ratings...

The all-powerful head of the Eastern Depot sees him as a thorn in his side and sneers, "Chen Fan, your days are numbered!"

Chen Fan calmly hands him a report. "Director, don't be so quick to threaten me. Take a look at the bad debt ratios at your money shops first. I'm afraid you won't meet your annual KPIs..."

Watch as a ruthless modern workplace veteran uses KPIs and Excel to manipulate the Ming bureaucracy as if it were in the palm of his hand!
