In the late Eastern Han dynasty, as the Three Kingdoms descend into blazing conflict, a demon-hunting mission in Yunmeng Marsh quietly alters the course of the troubled age.
Lu Xiao, son of Lu Bu and Diao Chan, is fated to be the reincarnation of the Yaoguang Star. He becomes a disciple of the Immortal Master Nanhua and learns the Art of the God of War and the Nanhua Scripture. Sent by his master to slay a tiger demon, he unexpectedly crosses paths with Shu Han's new F3: Zhuge Qiao, son of Zhuge Liang, who wields the Tiangang Fan and knows the arts of Qimen Dunjia; Guan Xing, eldest son of Guan Yu, who carries the Green Dragon Blade and is ruthless but sparing with words; and Zhang Bao, eldest son of Zhang Fei, who bears an eight-zhang spear and provides comic relief with his catchphrase, “I'm the same!” He also runs into Cao Ying, who has fled an arranged marriage in search of a master.
