After the Breakup, the Top Alpha Clings to the Pretty Airhead, Saying She Smells So Good

[Two male leads + slight everyone-loves-him vibe + ABOE + pheromone dependency + breakup with a touch of forced love + long-laid plans + sweet romance, both leads chaste] An oblivious, irresistibly charming, gorgeous Beta who can handle anything, paired with a gloomy, obsessive, unhinged Enigma who refuses to break up and is utterly devoted After breaking up with her possessive ex, Lu Ci is forced into the awkward arrangement of “breaking up without moving out.” Her ex, Shen Yizhou, has become very strange. He checks her social media every day, secretly smells the clothes she has taken off, and keeps testing her with one clumsy excuse after another. After the breakup, Lu Ci discovers she has developed a strange condition: insomnia. She can only sleep peacefully when she catches the scent of her ex, Shen Yizhou. Late one night, unable to take it anymore, Lu Ci hugs a pillow and knocks on Shen Yizhou’s door like a pitiful little animal. “I… I can’t sleep.” Shen Yizhou opens the door. Seeing her reddened eyes, he steps aside to let her in. The moment Lu Ci climbs into bed, a pair of strong arms pull her into a scorching embrace. “A coat isn’t enough,” the man murmurs hoarsely in her ear. “What you need is me.” She has just been driven home by her friend’s handsome, wealthy, powerful uncle, only to find her deranged ex-boyfriend Shen Yizhou waiting downstairs in his teddy-bear pajamas, holding a trash bag and trying to project the air of a legitimate partner! Lu Ci thinks she’s in for a storm as soon as she gets home. But her ex suddenly changes his tune. He doesn’t yell or make a scene. He simply stands despondently by the window, his back forlorn, and starts playing the victim in a hoarse voice. “He’s great, isn’t he? Better than me, more mature… We’ve already broken up. I have no right to control you.”
