Tokyo's Famous Detective, Sakata Ranzaburo

I'm Shan Shangpingye, a former medical school prodigy and now the "Watson" to Tokyo's greatest detective.

My boss, Sakata Ranzaburo, is a good-for-nothing old man who smokes, drinks, gambles on horse races, and would do anything for money.

But in Tokyo's shadows, he's a genius who can expose any criminal.

Inspector Yamura of the Metropolitan Police sees him as his lifelong enemy, yet when faced with bizarre and baffling cases, he has no choice but to ask for help.

Online insurance scams, dismemberment in a locked room, a string of deadly curses... When every lead runs cold, Sakata lights a cigarette, curses the "fools," and leads us straight to the heart of the truth. Welcome to the real-life detective cases of Tokyo's good-for-nothing sleuth and genius medical student: The Great Detective Sakata Ranzaburo of Tokyo!
