Sword Shatters the Nine Heavens: The Proud Celestial Venerable

Sword Shatters the Nine Heavens: The Proud Celestial Venerable is a thrilling power fantasy set on the Nine Heavens Continent. It tells the legendary story of Ye Chen, a God of War who is reborn through fire and fights his way to the pinnacle. Once the supreme God of War in the Nine Heavens Divine Realm, Ye Chen is betrayed by his own kin, who steal his Supreme Bone and martial soul. A wisp of his remnant soul attaches itself to the body of a good-for-nothing boy in the mortal world who shares his name.

Reborn, Ye Chen inherits the talent of a Chaos Spirit Root and the divine power of an ancient sword embryo. He rises above the humiliation inflicted on him by his clan and transforms through trials that bring him to the brink of death. With his sword, he cuts down every enemy; with the Dao as his foundation, he breaks through twelve levels of cultivation, from Body Tempering to the Chaos Realm, survives the tribulations of the Nine Heavens, and shatters the barriers of space and time.

From clan tournaments in the Lower Three Heavens to the power struggles of the great families in the Middle Three Heavens, and then the schemes of the divine clans in the Upper Three Heavens, Ye Chen sweeps aside powerful foes and unravels conspiracies at every turn. He reveals his brilliance during the encirclement at the Demon Abyss and finds opportunities in ancient inheritances. In the end, he points his sword at the heavens and claims the title of Celestial Venerable, forging a proud legend that declares: “If Heaven is unjust, then I'll tear it down!”
