Legends of Heaven and Earth: The Dragon God's Search for a Wife 2

Xuan Xiao, Dragon Lord of the Eastern Sea, descends to the mortal realm to undergo a trial of love and is rescued from danger by a mortal woman named Su Li. They spend three days together, and feelings begin to blossom. But the trial’s turbulent fate forces them to part in haste, leaving behind a dragon scale and half a pair of embroidered shoes as unspoken tokens of their attachment.

Su Li has no idea that the man by her side is a dragon god from the heavens, nor does she expect their chance encounter to leave her pregnant with a dragon child. Amid worldly prejudice and family strife, she wanders from place to place with her secret, clinging to hope for the child in her womb and relying on the dragon scale, which occasionally grows warm.

After Xuan Xiao returns to his place among the immortals, he is tormented by inner demons. Deeply in love, he takes the half pair of embroidered shoes and searches all three realms, vowing to find the mortal woman for whom he would willingly sacrifice his cultivation. From the cold courtyard of the Su residence to the raging waves of the Eastern Sea, from the bustle of the mortal world to the schemes of the heavens, he protects her with the might of a dragon god, while she stands beside him with the resilience of a mortal.

When the secrets of the dragon clan reveal Su Li’s mixed immortal-and-dragon heritage, and the Heavenly Emperor’s edict clashes with an undying love, this search for a wife across the divide between immortal and mortal realms becomes a legend that shakes all three realms. He seeks not just his wife, but the half of his heart lost in the mortal world; she waits not just for her husband, but for the courage to stand against heaven and earth alongside him.
