The Contract Prisoner Beneath the Starlight

To save her seriously ill mother, ordinary girl Su Wan is forced to sign a contract with business tycoon Lu Tingyuan to bear his child, becoming a canary trapped in a gilded cage.

She thinks she is nothing more than a cold, convenient womb, until she gradually realizes that she bears a startling resemblance to Lin Wei, Lu Tingyuan’s mysterious, long-deceased first love.

The secret of the Starlight, a cruise ship at the center of a decades-old case, binds the fates of all three together in a strange way.

When the mask of the stand-in is torn away and the truth buried deep finally comes to light, where will this imprisonment, which began as a transaction, end?

Will she resign herself to the fate of being a replacement, or break the contract and reclaim the life that belongs to her?
