My Best Friend and I Roam the Land as Taoist Priests

This book tells the story of Liu Yingying, a struggling history student, and her best friend Zhang Sinian, a sports major. After an accident forces them to inherit the Liu family's ancestral identity as wandering Taoist priests, they embark on a hilarious adventure, juggling their studies with all manner of supernatural cases. Using modern thinking to interpret ancient metaphysics and scientific (read: physical) methods to aid Taoist magic, they solve one bizarre case after another while gradually uncovering a huge secret about their pasts.
