A Fanatic of the Occult: My Good Fortune Comes from Dark Cultivation

[Metaphysics + Divination + Changing One’s Luck + Cunning + Fun + Technical + Practical]

He Xiaoyi just wants to be an ordinary, handsome college student.

But ever since he learned the weird metaphysics his grandfather left behind, his everyday life has gone completely off the rails.

Scene One:

His roommate gets dumped and sobs his heart out on the rooftop.

I secretly use a “Peach Blossom Luck Charm,” hoping he’ll turn a corner and find love.

The result: he rounds the corner and runs into the muscular counselor doing dorm inspections. They fall for each other at first sight...

The whole dorm building: “Holy crap! You can set up a fated romance like that?!”

Scene Two:

My crooked boss at my part-time job cheats me out of my wages.

I use a “Minor Money-Losing Spell” on him so he can experience the cruelty of the world.

The result: his company’s stock crashes, he goes bankrupt, and then he sobs as he hands me the company to settle his debt.

My former boss: “Big brother, I was wrong! Please take the spell back!”

From then on, the words “ordinary and unremarkable” have nothing to do with him. He just wants to ask: Can I return this unorthodox metaphysics stuff or what?! (Waiting for an answer online. Pretty urgent.)
